Our new hobby is restoring and finishing a gutted 4200 sf brick house in Paducah, Kentucky. It came with a 1700 sf carriage house, also gutted, which is where we will start. The first floor of the carriage house will be my workshop. The second floor will become an apartment where we can live while working on the big house.
